GLUTEN INTOLERANT + CELIAC
Check the Menu Markers & Request Substitutions:
All gluten-free dishes are noted on the menu.
Feel free to request substitutions – for example, try a
burger without a bun (it’s nice on a bed of lettuce or rice)!
Celiac?
BE AWARE, in Indonesia, most readily available gluten-free
ingredients are still processed in facilities that also
process gluten. If you have a very severe case of Celiac,
please talk to our manager.
If you’d like to try some of our fried items, like our mashed
potato fries or falafel, we’d be happy to fry them in new oil
for you. Just allow a little bit of extra time for your meal.
VEGETARIAN / VEGAN
All vegetarian and vegan dishes are marked on the menu.
Some vegetarian dishes can be made vegan – for example, by
substituting a sauce, removing cheese or changing the
protein from meat to tofu. Please discuss with your server.
If any dishes or salads are served with a creamy dressing, our
homemade olive oil & balsamic vinegar dressing is available
upon request.
The majority of our cocktails are vegan; some use honey, but
this will be noted in the description.
NUT ALLERGIES
DAIRY / LACTOSE
When we include peanuts or
peanut butter in a dish, we
note this on the menu.
BE AWARE, a very common
nut in most Indonesian dishes
is kemiri (candlenut). As an
example, many Indonesian
curries, include candlenuts.
Please let us know if this is a
concern and we can suggest
a dish without candlenuts.
When we we use any
type of cheese, milk or
yogurt in a dish, we
note this on the menu.
We can make many
dishes without cheese,
just please ask your
server; in some cases,
please allow a little bit
of extra time for your
meal preparation.
